An AI receptionist for your plumbing company
Plumbers miss calls because both hands are busy. Puff Voice answers your business line, takes the address and the problem, and books the visit from your calendar.
Why plumbing companys miss calls
Under a sink or in a crawl space
A plumber with both hands on a fitting cannot take a call. The phone rings out, and the next job waits on a callback that may be too late.
Leaks and clogs do not wait
A burst line or a backed-up drain is a call the customer places right now. They try more than one company and book the first that answers.
Quote shoppers call three plumbers
Water heater and repipe jobs are shopped. The company that picks up or replies first usually gets the visit.
After hours and in season
After hours
Water heaters fail overnight and drains back up on weekends. The caller wants an answer and a time, and a missed call leaves them with neither.
Busy and slow seasons
Cold snaps bring frozen and burst pipes. Water heaters, drains and fixtures fail all year, so the phone load is steadier than in some trades but spikes after bad weather.
A call, start to finish
The caller says
My water heater is leaking into the garage. Can you come out this afternoon?
What Puff does
Puff takes the address, what is leaking and a callback number, books the visit into your calendar and texts a confirmation. The transcript and summary land in your CRM.
- You choose when it answers: every call, only calls you do not pick up, or only after hours.
- It answers from your own services, hours and FAQ, and takes a message when it does not know.
- It hands the call to you when the caller asks for a person.
Which plan includes it
Puff Voice is a paid add-on from $109/mo with 200 answered minutes a month. It is included on Domination ($649/mo), with 200 answered minutes a month. The CRM itself is free.
You need your own Twilio account with a phone number, connected in Settings, Phone, before you buy. Twilio bills its own call charges to your Twilio account.
Questions from plumbers
Can it tell a leak from a quote request?
It asks what is wrong and writes it into the summary. You see the call in your CRM and decide the priority. It does not dispatch a plumber by itself.
Does it work with my own phone number?
It needs your own Twilio account with a phone number, connected in Settings, Phone, before you buy. Twilio bills its own call charges to that account.
Does the caller know it is not a person?
Yes by default. The greeting says it is an automated assistant, and you decide whether to keep that on.
